This site, Composing from the Moon, is a living tribute to my sister, an English professor and tireless advocate for writers and equality within academia and our broader community. Her light was a constant beacon, and her teachings inspired a profound belief in the power of words to enact change. In her spirit, this space is dedicated to continuing her mission: to illuminate, uplift, and empower diverse voices. We honor her memory by fostering a community where composition is an act of advocacy, and every writer is given the guidance and encouragement she so generously provided.
